The Heart of Our Mission
As a foster-based rescue, we depend on volunteer foster families to save lives. We are currently building our foster network and need compassionate people to join us. Every foster home that opens its doors means one more doodle pulled from a shelter and given a second chance.

Getting Started
Send an email to volunteer@doodlerescueusa.org with your name, location, and which role interests you most.
We'll schedule a quick phone or video call to learn about your experience, living situation, and availability.
For foster applicants, we'll do a quick virtual or in-person home environment review to ensure a safe space.
Complete a short online orientation covering our protocols, emergency procedures, and what to expect.
Once approved, we'll match you with a doodle based on your experience level, home setup, and preferences.
We're growing our team right now and need people like you. Fill out our volunteer application and be a founding member of our rescue community. No experience necessary — just a big heart.
