Human Code of Conduct

Supervise my dog at all times and stay close enough to intervene immediately.
Clean up after my dog and notify staff of any accident.
Respect every dog's boundaries — not every dog wants to interact.
Manage my dog's behavior; staff may require us to leave for persistent issues.
Help maintain a safe community and assist others when appropriate.
Treat others with respect, in person and in the online community.
Help create a welcoming environment for members, volunteers, and guests.
Accept responsibility for any guests I bring and ensure they follow the rules.

Dog Requirements

My application includes only doodles (non-doodles are not eligible).
My dog can safely interact with people and other dogs.
For off-leash events, my dog is comfortable sharing space with unfamiliar dogs.
My dog is current on all vaccinations required by law and each venue, at event time.
My dog will not attend while showing signs of illness or any contagious condition.
My dog is in good physical condition; dogs in heat should not attend.
My dog meets any minimum age requirements set by the venue.

Waterpark Event Rules

No poop in the pool — take dogs to the relief area first.
Humans may not swim; you may supervise your doodle up to your knees.
Additional venue waivers may be required on-site.
Monitor your dog's comfort and leave if they're overwhelmed.

Liability Waiver & Release

I understand that attending Doodle Rescue USA events with dogs and water involves inherent risks, including injury to me, my dog, or others.
I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation, for myself, my dog, and any guests I bring.
I release and hold harmless Doodle Rescue USA, its volunteers, staff, and event venues from any claims, injuries, damages, or losses arising from my participation, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
I am solely responsible for my dog's behavior and for any injury or damage it causes, and I confirm I am able to control my dog at all times.

Photography & Media Release

Photography, video, and audio may occur at DRUSA events.
I authorize DRUSA to record me and my dog, including incidentally/in the background.
I authorize DRUSA to publish and distribute these across its channels without compensation.

The photo I submit is used to create my dog's Member ID Card and verify event eligibility.
